The shape of an online mode has not been detailed

Rockstar has not published a description of an online component for Grand Theft Auto VI — what it contains, when it opens, or how it relates to GTA Online.

Given that GTA Online has been a substantial part of Take-Two's revenue for over a decade, something almost certainly exists. That is an inference from business reality, not a fact, and this site will not print it as one.
