Editorial policy

Writing about a game that does not exist yet is mostly a problem of honesty. This is how we handle it.

Sourcing

Anything that is not self-evident carries its source. Official trailers, screenshots and Rockstar statements are treated as fact. Reporting is attributed to the outlet and the journalist. Community analysis is labelled as community analysis.

We do not turn other people's reporting into "sources say".

Speculation

Where we reason from previous Rockstar games, we say so on the page. Informed expectation is useful; presenting it as knowledge is not.

Leaks

Leaks are covered as claims, with a named source, a date, a credibility rating and both the case for and against. A claim that is later disproved stays published and is marked as disproved — a record you can check is the whole value of the page.

Corrections

Errors are corrected on the page with a date. We do not silently edit and we do not delete to hide a mistake. Report one to leonidaclub.com@gmail.com.

Independence

Advertising and any future sponsorship have no influence on what we write, and sponsored content — if it ever exists — will be labelled as such at the top of the page.
